Active substance: Cyproheptadine

Pharmacological effects: Cyproheptadine is a blocker of H1-histamine receptors which also exerts m-cholinoblocking and antiserotonin effects. The antiallergic effect is mostly expressed against ithcing dermatosises. The drug also stimulates appetite and blocks the secretion of somatotropic hormone and adrenocorticotropic hormone.
