The symptoms of iron deficient anemia are: fatigue, breathing troubles, weakness. It is very dangerous to underestimate such a type of anemia. Iron insufficiency may lead to delays in developing and growing or heart murmur. For pregnant women it may result in the premature delivery risk or problems with the weight of a baby. As it was mentioned in the beginning, the red blood cells are responsible for the oxygen transfer. The lack of oxygen may lead to arrhythmia or even heart failure. When having iron deficient anemia, it is obligatory to consult a doctor and begin treatment. |
