Pharmacological effects: Fluticasone is a synthetic corticosteroid which exerts the following effects: anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and antipruritic. The drug inhibits proliferation of mast cells, eosinophills, lymphocytes, macrofagi and neutrophills, decreases the production and release of inflammatory mediators and other specific biologically active substances.

Indications: Different pharmaceutical forms of the drug may be used in treatment of different conditions:

• Nasal spray: Allergic rhinitis
• Inhalation: prophylaxis of bronchial asthma attacks

Warnings and Precautions: The drugs should not be used in the following conditions:

• Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparations.

• Lactation period
• Age prior to 4 years

Fluticasone should be used with caution:

• Compromised adrenal gland fucntion
• Tuberculosis
