Active substance: Dienogest and Ethinlylestradiol

Pharmacological effects:

Jeanine is a low-dosed monophasic oral contraceptive containing a mixture of estrogens (ethinlylestradiol) and gestagens (dienogest). Contraceptive effect of Jeanine is associated with several complementary mechanisms such as ovulation suppression, increasing the viscosity of cervical mucus, endometrium modification. Dienogest possesses anti-androgenic activity, improves blood lipids profile.

Indications:

  • Prevention of undesirable pregnancy (hormonal contraception)
  • Hormonal contraception in patients with acne, seborrhea, hirsutism, androgenic alopecia

Warnings and Precautions: The drugs should not be used in the following conditions:
