Therapeutic actions: Proctosedyl is a combined preparation that is used in treatment of hemorrhoids, it exerts antiinflammatory and antipruritic effect. Hydrocortisone – possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect. Framycetin – antibiotic from a group of aminoglycosides which is used locally, the ingridietn exerts bactericidal effect against gram positive and gram negative microorganisms. Esculin is a naturally occurring substance that increases venous tone, strengthens capillaries and exerts anti-exudative effect.
Indications: The drug is indicated in the following conditions:
- Hemorrhoidis
- Perianal itching
Contraindications and cautions: The drug should not be used in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
- Tuberculosis
- Viral infections
- Fungal infections
- Pregnancy
- Young age
The drug should be used with caution:
- Arterial hypertension
- Chronic heart failure
