Active Ingredients:
standardized and defatted extract from sea-fish
Therapeutic actions:
Alflutop is a natural medicine, obtained from the sea-fish. Alflutop regulates metabolism in cartilaginous tissue. It contains glycosaminoglycans that are essential substances in activation of the regeneration processes in the damaged cartilage. Alfutop exerts chondroprotective action based on inhibiting the activity of hyaluronidase and other enzymes. These enzymes contribute to destruction of the intercellular matrix. Inhibiting these enzymes allows Aflutop to normalize biosynthesis of the hyaluronic acid and collagen type II.
Due to restoration of hemostasis in joints and retardation the release of the inflammatory mediators, Alflutop exerts moderate anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
