Pharmacological effects: Actovegin is medication that activates tissue metabolism, lowers tissue's hypoxia, improves trophism and stimulates the process of regeneration. Actovegin's antihypoxic action is associated with the stimulation of the oxygen consumption and glucose utilization by the brain cells.
