Active substance: Complex of peptides obtained form the swine's brain

Pharmacological effects: Cerebrolysin contains low-molecular biologically active neuropeptides, that penetrates through the blood-brain barrier and acts directly on the nerve cells. Cerebrolysin contributes to metabolic regulation, neuroprotection, functional neuromodulation and neurotrophic activity. Therapeutic effect of Cerebrolysin is associated with the following mechanism:
A)Metabolic regulation: Cerebrolysin increases the efficiency of aerobic energetic metabolism of the human brain, improves intracellular proteins synthesis
