Drug name: Fastum gel

Active substance: Ketoprofen

Pharmacological effects:

Indications:  Fastum gel is used to treat:

• Pain syndrome and inflammation or trauma of the joints, chorda and ligaments
• Diseases of the muscles (arthritis, periarthritis, arthrosynovitis, tendinitis, peritendinitis, bursitis, concussion,stretching, abarticulation, accessory cramp, lumbago)
• Phlebitis, periphlebitis, lymphangitis
• Inflammation of the skin

Warnings and Precautions: The drug should not be used in the following conditions:

• Hypersensitivity to any components of the preparations.
• Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAID's.
• Aggravation of gastrointestinal tract diseases.
• Liver and kidney dysfunction
• Open wounds
• Infection of the skin caused by bacteria, fungi or viruses
• Blood disorders (leukopenia,  thrombocytopenia, blood clotting disorders)
• Pregnancy
• Breastfeeding

Fastum gel side effects: Drugs may cause side-effects which in specific patients may manifest differently. • In long term use allergic reactions (itch, urticaria) are possible.
