Active substance: Mometasone

Pharmacological effects:

Elocom contains the active ingredient mometasone that belongs to a group of medicines called glucocorticoids. Elocom exerts anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative and and anti-pruritic action. Therapeutic action of the medication is associated with the inhibiting the release of chemical compounds called glycoproteins. Glycoproteins are responsible for the biosynthesis of inflammatory mediators(prostoglandins and leukotriens).

Indications: Elocom is approved for the relive of inflammatory reactions and itching in dermatosis in adults and children over 2 years of age

Warnings and Precautions: The drugs should not be used in the following conditions:
